Feverfew Extract (Standardized)

Feverfew is grown organically in the rich soil of the Galilean
farmlands in Israel. In this region it's growth is carefully monitored
through a unique state-of-the-art cultivation technology to ensure the
leaves contain the highest concentration of naturally occurring
parthenolide. The leaves are them meticulously extracted to provide a
standardized level of 0.9% Parthenolide without the use of harsh
chemicals
Feverfew is the common name for Tanacetum Parthenium. This plant has
been used for centuries for the treatment of numerous ailments. The most
common and scientifically documented use for Feverfew is in the
prevention of migraine headaches, arthritis and PMS. Clinical trials
have proven that Feverfew is an effective prophylactic treatment for
migraine.
In more recent studies, Feverfew has been shown not only to alleviate
the pain of migraines, but help reduce the inflammation of arthritis,
ease dizziness and tinnitus, relieve painful periods and sluggish
menstrual flow. Feverfew's constituents are: volatile oil, sesquiterpene
lactones (including parthenolide and santamarine), and tannins. These
constituents act as an anti-inflammatory, vasodilator, bitter, and an
emmenagogue.
Research has shown that in long term use of Feverfew, users have
reported pleasant side effects such as more restful sleep, relief from
depression, digestion, asthma attacks, nausea and vomiting.
Researchers and pharmacologist suggest that the sesquiterpene lactones
may inhibit the release of histamine and prostalandins during the
inflammatory process, which prevents blood vessel spasms that lead to
migraines.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement take (1) capsule daily at meal
time, or as directed by a health care professional. Store in a cool dry
