Dear Ms. Squires:
As you know I began using the new medicine ViraMedx® over a year ago
to treat genital herpes and coldsores in my patients. I have had great
success with this new product. The following is a report on just three
of the patients on whom I have used this new medicine.
In June of 1996 I treated a three year old girl for oral gingival
stomatitis caused by the herpes virus. She was brought in by her mother
crying and in great pain with a swollen tongue. I applied ViraMedx®
directly to the sores on her tongue, instructed her to hold her tongue
out for a few minutes, and had her mother hold her to make certain she
kept her tongue out. We waited 10-15 minutes during which we observed
her for any change in her condition. After the 10 minutes the patient
stopped crying and after 15 minutes I asked her if her mouth hurt. She
said no. I examined her mouth and the swelling was already reduced. The
patient then ran off and started playing. I followed up the next day
with this patient and surprisingly the sores on her tongue were gone.
She has had no more outbreaks to date.
In July of 1996 an adult female patient presented with genital herpes
lesions. The symptoms included: pain, inguinal swelling, difficulty in
walking and urinating. ViraMedx® was applied to the lesions. The
patient reported that the pain eased in just a few minutes. She was
instructed to keep the sores coated with the medicine. The next morning
the lesions had healed. She has not had a recurrence to date.
About the same time another adult female patient in my office
presented with genital herpes. Symptoms included: pain, swelling,
itching, and a lesion. Again ViraMedx® was applied. She reported that
the pain eased in 15 minutes and the next day the lesion was healed.
This new treatment is excellent and works very well for my patients.
Sincerely,

Dr. Angela Cupeles, M.D.
