Hawthorne Extract Standardized
In Europe, an extract of dried hawthorn leaves and blossoms is used
to treat chronic heart failure. Hawthorn (Crataegus) is reported
to improve the pumping capacity of the heart and to improve angina.
Prior clinical studies have documented hawthorn effectiveness.
The randomized controlled study tested the effects of 600 mg/day of a
European hawthorn extract called Farosreg. 300. Seventy-eight patients
taking the active drug had significant gains in their stamina and
endurance, as measured by a stationary bicycle, had lower blood pressure
while exercising, had lower heart rates during exercise and pumped more
blood at lower pressure.
Our Hawthorn Extract is a Standardized Extract produced with European
standards of quality and efficacy. Garlic and Cayenne are added for
their synergistic benefits.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, adults take one capsule 3
times a day with meals, or as directed by a health care professional.
